Art Nude Hotel Workshop w. Beatrice_ninja (NYC)

A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon... an photo shoot in a luxury hotel with a beautiful model !   Our Hotel Art Nude Photography Workshop is one of our popular series of art nude workshops.

The workshop from 2 pm to 5 pm, will feature, Beatrice, a professional fine art nude model.  We explore how a hotel room can be used for three variations of art nude photography : i) boudoir photography, with a variety of props, ii) to tell a "story" and create a narrative, and iii) for abstract nudes featuring light and shadows, shapes, lines and volumes. We will use natural light, as well as strobes and/or continuous studio lights.

Recommended references text the workshop are Christa Meola's "The Art of Boudoir Photography," Todd Hido "Landscapes, Interiors, and the Nude: The Photography Workshop Series" (Aperture) and Ralph Gibson "Nudes" (Taschen).

Our model will be Beatrice_ninja, a professional dancer, who has modeled for our workshops in the past, and is originally from Italy. Beatrice has a great range as a model, as you can see in her portfolios at:

By the end of the workshop, you will have a set of images of a great fine art nude model, and have learned how a hotel room can be a location used to expand your art nude portfolio.

The workshop will be held in a mid-town Manhattan hotel suitable for the workshop theme.  The location and logistics for the shoot will be provided to interested parties.

Workshop Fee: $225 (includes Model Release and use of Pocket Wizard)
